Audio Alt-ar is based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded by Rain Essex in 2022 - Audio Alt-ar is an experimental electronic record label made by artists for artists who are tired of fitting in the genre box. We've created a label for the misfits and artists who don't fit into the one-size fits all labels of dance music. This label is for the artists who like to experiment and cross genre boundaries, music is art and it should be treated as such in the professional realm. "When I started making music I knew that I would never get to be on the electronic labels I dreamed of being on because I didn't fit into any genre or box they were looking for, so I decided to create my own box.
